We are a family run business with over 20 years of combined experience working with children.
We have worked with a wide range of children in a number of different job roles.
These include:
Sports Coaches, Teaching Assistant, Supply Teacher, Alternative Provision Teacher, Playworker and a Pastoral Assistant.
Having the experience of these roles gives us a great base on which to provide the best possible care and enriching activities for all children.
We are Ofsted registered and currently offer holiday clubs, being run at Trumpington Park Primary School, for children aged 4 to 11. Children from any school are very welcome to join us for days of sports and crafts. As well as holiday clubs, we currently support Sutton Primary School, Wilburton Primary School and Little Thetford Primary School in all of the ways listed under the 'Information For Schools' tab.
"Children settle very quickly at the club and build strong relationships with staff. Staff pay extra attention to children on their first day, spending time with them to get to know them and to understand their needs and interests. Children are very happy at the club and share how much they enjoy attending."
The children have opportunities to pick the fruit and vegetables from the schools vegetable plot. They enjoy eating the beans and tomatoes as part of their snacks and lunch."
Children's behaviour is excellent. Children are kind and thoughtful, asking peers if they are okay when they fall over, and offering their help. Older children are given responsibility. Staff help them to lead craft activities and share their skills with peers. This supports their self esteem and confidence well."
"The children have lots of opportunity for physical activity. There are several planned sports games each day that the children can choose to take part in. There is a wide variety of outdoor resources such as bats, balls, basketball and net, tennis balls, ride on toys and pogo sticks. Staff interact with children and support group games involving physical play. Staff also notice children that may be hesitant to join in and invite them to take part in smaller group games such as catch with a tennis ball."
"Staff promote healthy eating and exercise throughout each day at the club. They talk to children about healthy choices and encourage them to take part in daily exercise. Additionally, children learn to keep themselves safe during their play time at the club. When staff ask children not to do something, they explain why. Children learn how their actions can have an impact on themselves and other around them."
We are always on the lookout for motivated individuals, who can help inspire and develop young minds.
We are interested in people with different backgrounds, qualifications and experience – we have no barriers as long as you have a willingness to grow, too.
